01

Our commitment

VidTransfer respects the intellectual property rights of creators, publishers, platforms, and other copyright owners. We respond to sufficiently detailed copyright complaints and may restrict access, preserve relevant records, suspend processing, or terminate accounts when appropriate.

VidTransfer is not affiliated with or endorsed by the supported video platforms unless expressly stated. Those platforms and their users retain their respective rights in videos, audio, trademarks, and other material.

02

Customer responsibility

You may use VidTransfer only for content you own or have permission or another lawful right to save. You are responsible for complying with applicable copyright and other laws, the source platform’s terms, and any license or permission attached to the content.

Do not use VidTransfer to infringe copyright or related rights.
Do not bypass DRM, passwords, login requirements, or other access controls.
Do not assume that permission to view a video includes permission to download or republish it.
03

Submitting a copyright notice

If you believe material accessible through or processed by VidTransfer infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to the Copyright Contact listed below. A complete notice should contain all of the following:

  1. 1

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.

  2. 2

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers multiple works.

  3. 3

Identification of the material or activity claimed to be infringing, together with enough information for us to locate it, such as the source URL and any relevant VidTransfer job reference.

  4. 4

Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

  5. 5

A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the complained-of use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. 6

A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.

A notice that does not contain enough information may delay our review. We may contact you for clarification.

04

How we respond

After receiving a sufficiently complete notice, we may investigate the report and act as appropriate under applicable law and our Terms of Service. This can include disabling access, stopping processing, removing associated records or files where appropriate, notifying the affected account holder, and limiting or terminating an account.

We may provide the notice, including the complainant’s contact information, to the affected customer or other parties involved in evaluating or resolving the complaint. Submit notices only if you are authorized to do so.

05

Counter-notice

If access was restricted because of a copyright notice and you believe the action resulted from mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to the same Copyright Contact. The counter-notice should include:

  1. 1

    Your physical or electronic signature.

  2. 2

Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal or restriction.

  3. 3

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.

  4. 4

Your name, address, and telephone number, plus consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal district court and agreement to accept service of process from the original complainant or that person’s agent.

When required by applicable law, we may send a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. We may restore access after no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days unless the complainant informs us that a court action has been filed seeking to restrain the disputed activity.

06

Repeat infringement and misrepresentation

In appropriate circumstances, Ebiz Inc. may suspend or terminate customers who repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly use VidTransfer in violation of this policy. We may also take action based on a single serious violation.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright notice or counter-notice may create liability for damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees. Consider whether a license, permission, public-domain status, or an exception such as fair use applies before sending a notice.
